The team includes multiple other experienced individuals from the gaming and blockchain industry who have developed multiple games with millions of downloads including Tank Raid and Heroes Strike. Danny Doan, Hoang So, and Yoko are the COO, CTO, and CFO of Thetan Arena respectively.

Analysis:

Thetan Arena is an NFT-based play-to-earn game developed and launched by a Vietnamese game studio known as Wolffun Games. The game involves an online battle arena in which you can fight against other players by playing alone or teaming up with other users. The game is inspired by WolffunΓÇÖs battle arena game Heroes Strike which doesnΓÇÖt involve the aspect of NFTs or crypto. Just like any other shooting and battle game, it consists of four different modes i.e. Deathmatch, Battle Royale, Superstar, and Tower Siege.

Users enter the gameplay using the Heroes NFTs that belong to different classes including Assassin, Marksman, and Tank. Users can upgrade the skills and abilities of their characters or Heroes to win against other players. Players can earn in-game coins by participating in Battles, tournaments, quests, and guild wars. The game has two native coins called Thetan Coin (THC) and Thetan Gem (THG). THC is the in-game reward token and can be earned by playing the games and participating in different activities. While THG is more like a governance token, which users can purchase, hold for a long time, stake and even vote for future developments in the game. THC has a total supply of 20 Million tokens while THG has a supply of 420 Million tokens with a market cap of $9.3 Million as of August 20.

Conclusive Arguments:

Thetan Arena is an engaging blockchain-based game that isnΓÇÖt much heavy in terms of graphics and can be easily played on any device. Multiple modes inside the game can get you going without getting bored which is normally the case in most NFT games.

Although you can freely download and start playing the game with the offered NFT Heroes you must spend some money to start earning rewards inside the game. Without purchasing premium characters in the form of NFTs, it is quite difficult to reach higher levels. You need to buy THC tokens to unlock those premium characters and access the play-to-earn feature of the game.

Moreover, the graphics are simple and colorful which cannot be compared with high-end AAA-level games. Cashing out your earned rewards also requires a lot of grind as a considerable amount of THC tokens are required along with a certain level on the leaderboard to be eligible. The game is overall fun and engaging and can be freely played but if you are looking to earn through your gameplay, it isnΓÇÖt a suitable game.
